Maybe, they were going to run a feature on Dowie. What issue? And got a spare?

Awesome timing, lighting, tone... Everything, it all adds up to an awesome photo on all counts.

Yep, you're right. Although he's built some newer ones now. This photo looks a lot greener than when I was there.

I've got a shot of him in the middle of the gap, I shot a sequence of it. But this shot is by far my fave, the point of no return.

It's just a sequence, the photos have been stitched together but it certainly isn't a Photoshop fake. This is coming from a photographer who has worked with some pretty big brands (Raleigh and it's sub-brands such as Diamondback, Ison Distribution and it's sub brands including Identiti, Halo etc) so trust me I know. As far as putting sequences together goes this is actually pretty good!

What the heck are you on about? The shadows do match up! I should be able to tell I'm a photographer, and this is a great photo. Can't you accept that people can take great photos?

It's alright, I think my camera's going up the creek now. Flash not syncing sometimes even at 1/250th! I've had no problems syncing it at 1/500th and even 1/1000th up til now! Bugger.

I think I have 4, I've had 3 in the last 3 weeks... I keep finding out from friends, otherwise I wouldn't have known about this one. I'd like to thanks the admin of Pinkbike once again for featuring my photos!

This photo is not photoshopped. The blockiness is a result of JPEG compression artefacts, which is something you will notice on a LOT of photos on Pinkbike as it compresses images after upload. This is also the reason for lots of squares on the pebbles that form the beach.

It was taken about half way between The Pyramids and The Pier. The IoW was literally just out of shot on the right! I've got a few pics of riding on the Pyramids... I should probably upload some.

As for the shadow... Look, you can't even see the top of the bin in the shadow, as the sun is really low and just about to set. If you can't see the top of the bin in the shadow then the rider should also not be visible. His shadow is out of shot.

Nah, that was a shot taken by Steve Bardens... But I was in that article as I was(and still am) the photographer for the lil street team, Urban London. We also had a section on Ride Guide on the Extreme Channel. I took this photo and angle about 10 mins before Bardens did though!

Actually, she can. And she's photographed some of the UK's top dirt jumpers including Grant Fielder (Chopper) the Identiti and Halo teams and Diamondbacks riders too. So she's good. What's on your CV?

Actually, it is photo of the day. Although I don't get to choose photo of the day so I have the admin of this site to thank for that, which I do. Thanks admin! It's a shame people leave comments like this, what did I do to deserve it?

Wanna try taking a photo in the conditions that meter at 1/8th of a second at an aperture of f/1.4 at ISO800? Didn't think so, as you don't even know what it means. Blur? It's called panning, without it this shot wouldn't exist.
